Blue Springs South Girls Track and Field earned the Class 5 District 7 Championship title at Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School this past weekend. The team advanced 16 of their 19 events to Sectionals next weekend at Lee’s Summit North High School.

Several Jaguars earned individual event titles:

Eva Uhrmacher – 800M – broke her own school record with a time of 2:12.12

Rylie Newman – 100M

Alia Harris – Discus

Kendall Hays – Triple Jump

The team scored 171.5 points overall with second place, Lee’s Summit North, earning 99 points.
